The wait is over, our 2026 senior season gets underway this coming weekend on Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April. After a big preseason, we are ready to roll. Quick note, please forward this onto any of your friends that have recently joined, as I currently don't have all of their emails.

This season is a massive one for Deakin, with the club entering 6 senior teams for the first time. That is a huge step for the club and a great sign of our growth. It means more opportunities, more game time, and more chances for everyone to contribute across the season. It also means we need everyone fully on board to make it a success.

⚠️ Action Required – Baseball Victoria Registration
Your Baseball Victoria registration needs to be completed ASAP.

This covers your insurance, and you cannot play unless it has been paid. Please note this is not your club fees. Club fees will be sent out later this week. Right now, the priority is getting everyone registered with Baseball Victoria first.

🙌 Volunteers Needed Across the Season
With 18 rounds of home games, we will have 30 game days across Saturdays and Sundays at Deakin. That means we will need plenty of help in the canteen and with umpiring across the year.

The hope is simple, if people can help cover just one day each across the season, it will make a huge difference and spread the load. With a senior list of 70+ players, this should be very achievable if everyone chips in.

Parents and partners are also more than welcome to jump in and help out. If you can assist at any stage, please let me know!
